This is a funny counting game helping youngsters count 6 – 10 and relate the quantity of a number to the correct numeral.

They will also practice subitizing skills (where we recognize a quantity of objects in total rather than counting each object individually).

This free counting game has been designed to present the number of cactus in each round as well as the monster character randomly, meaning that young ones can play and replay the game without getting bored.

How to Play Cactus Count 6 – 10

Click on the play button to hear the monster give instructions or click the x to close the video window.

Count the cactus images on the page and then look for the right number on the button on the right hand side.

You will get green buttons at the top left of the page when you get one correct.

Learning Outcomes

Youngsters will practice counting from 6 – 10, relating volume of objects to the correct numeral and begin to develop subitizing skills.

How to Play Number Path Game

The aim of this game is to move the apple from the left to the right of the page. Look at the number at the top left of the page and move the apple to the adjacent correct number.

Each time the apple lands on the correct number, a new number will appear.

When the apple is on the right, he will do a little dance and you will have the option to play the game again!

How to Play Our Pick the Correct Monster Game

After the game loads, click the play button to get started.

Some brief instructions are displayed and clicking the OK button will start the game.

At the top of the screen is a written description of a monster. The player has to click or tap the monster whose color and number of eyes matches the description.

If the player picks the wrong monster, however, they’ll lose one of their lives. The number of lives they have is represented by the stars at the top left. If they lose all of these stars, the game will end.

If the player correctly selects 10 monsters without losing all their lives, they win the game.
